WKND Worship Collective started in the island town of Islamorada, FL. In early 2023 we embarked on a new endeavor—a vision to gather songwriters with a shared passion for hearing the sounds of heaven and composing fresh music for the Church. After two years of dreaming we shared our vision with a local pastor and he generously offered his church for the gathering. Furthermore, his family selflessly donated their waterfront property to enable us to host a total of twelve individuals. In faith and providence, we pressed forward, seeking divine guidance every step of the way. Invitations were extended to talented songwriters from Nashville and other parts of the United States. Participants brought their unique expertise and perspectives, creating a diverse tapestry of creativity. Our retreat became a haven of inspiration and fellowship with the Holy Spirit. We sought to be vessels for the songs He wanted to write. The outcome was nothing short of extraordinary—a collection of heartfelt songs were created.

Today, WKND Worship is working to share these first songs with the world. We believe God has birthed a vessle for the creation of new songs for the Church today and we are so honored to steward this gift. WKND is now available to partner with churches everywhere to co-write new songs for the local church.
